Sporting the Cannula (Day 21)

Faith hanging with Momma at U of M...a little tired here.
Check out that jaw...When we are done, I will do a before an after.
She's feeling a little better, but will have the distractors for a few more weeks.
I was able to make it to the hospital and see my beautiful wife and daughter today.  Faith sound really junky when I arrived, but had gotten much of her color back.  While I was there, they used the cough assistant so I video taped it which will be up for viewing shortly.  It worked very well and helped her get a lot of junk out.  She also laid on her tummy for a couple of hours which caused a lot more junk to come out.  By the time I left this evening, Faith sounded much better.  Jesi said she was smiling a lot as I made the hour long drive home at least until they started the cough assistant machine again.  I expect to see her doing much better in the next couple of days.

  1. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Faith is looking so beautiful. I love her ponytails. I am looking forward to seeing a smiling picture of her.
What a little trooper she is. God must of given her one of His best Angels to look over her.

    XOXOXOX and prayers for all.
    Love, Lilly's Aunt Shisshy

  2. She's so beautiful! Have been reading your blog and praying for all of you. Our God is an amazing God. Praying for many more happy visits and good days for all of you soon.

  3. Just reread Faith's "About Me" column. I have deep brown eyes and my husband has hazel/green eyes. Both of our kids have blue eyes. When the first was born we were shocked and wondered what My friend's mother was a biology teacher and said it made perfect sense. I just know that whatever God does makes perfect sense.;-)

  4. Lilly's jealous of your puppytails, Faith! Hang in there little one. God will shephard you through this. And hang in there Jesi! I bet your days have all blurred together now. We're praying for you all fervently. :)
